Moulding Flask

Moulding flasks is a tool used in foundries. When the moulding machine works, the Moulding flasks holds the sand to form a certain structure. After material like molten iron was poured into the molded sand which was held by Moulding flasks, the molten material will solidify and form to the casting that you need. Moulding flasks is normally made from material of cast iron and then machined to meet specifications.

The moulding box, also named as sand box, moulding box or sand moulding box for moulding line is the necessary technological equipment for the automatic and semi-automatic moulding line of the foundry. We use advanced CNC machine tools for processing and use the trilinear coordinates measuring instrument for dimensional inspection to ensure high precision and interchangeability of the sand box. The sand box is made of ductile iron, high-grade gray cast iron or welded steel plate with  characteristics of good rigidity and high pressure shock resistance. We can design and manufacture various kinds of sand boxes according to customers' requirements or also produce sand boxes according to customers' drawings and technical requirements. 

Sizes we can produce are from 300mm to 2200mm.
